Families, join us for fun stories, songs, and books! Designed for ages birth to 5 years old, but all ages and siblings are welcome. This storytime focuses on creating a shared experience and bond around books.

Mother Goose is an early literacy program that supports your child's development through stories, songs, rhymes, movement, and more. Designed for children ages birth through 2 years old and their caregivers.

Children of all ages, come to the library as we will sing, move, dance, and make music together. 

Most importantly, we will have fun!

Preschool Storytime is a 25-30 minute program filled with age - and developmentally - appropriate stories, songs, movement activities, and fingerplays that build your child's early literacy skills.

In this 25-30 minute storytime, we focus on a theme while enjoying age- and developmentally-appropriate stories, songs, movement activities, and fingerplays. This program is designed for children ages 2 to 3.5 years old and their caregivers.&nbsp

Read and Discuss a new Graphic Novel every month.  This month we are reading Amazons, Abolitionist, and Activist by Mikki Kendall

Join us for Accessible Craft projects in February! These crafts are for adult patrons of all abilities and are completely free to attend. No registration necessary. 

Join us every month as we work in different art mediums. 

This month we will try our hand at “felting owls.” 

There are two different sessions, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. 

Participate in conversations about meaningful topics where anyone is welcome to join.  No registration required. 

Children in grades K to 2nd, join us once a month to share our love for reading!

Each month, we'll host a read-aloud and discussion, then do a fun community art project together around the book.

Flautist Gemma Stemley will play a variety of music selections including Calypso, Jazz and Blues with classical Bossa Nova and Celtic Selections.

Celebrate Valentine's Day at the library! Join us for snacks, games, and more!

Children of all ages, meet Prada the Therapy Dog! Prada is an AKC-licensed therapy dog and American Staffordshire Terrier, who loves snuggles and listening to stories.

Calling all young people, ages 6 to 11! We will do creative projects that celebrate diversity and inspire change as we reinforce our individual interests, identity, and empower through art. 

Like Scrabble?  Join us for a few games every Tuesday at the Penn Hills Library.  No registration required.
