Program Description

About This Program

Can you imagine weighing less than a paperclip but being able to fly hundreds and even thousands of miles as a part of a multi-generational migration? Monarch butterflies seem almost magical – they can eat dangerous plants without getting sick, their color is a “magic” trick, and they are great pollinators.

Children ages 6-11, join Maria Wheeler-Dubas to learn about an amazing pollinator, the monarch butterfly! You will bring home a monarch caterpillar to raise and release! (Limit one caterpillar per family.)

Please register once per household of children attending. If you have only one child attending only, please register once.
