Becoming Fredrick Douglass

Join us for an exciting event about Frederick Douglass; abolitionist, writer, and statesman. 

Gemma Stemley will perform some of Douglass’ favorite musical pieces on her flute and will read poems from her upcoming book of poetry. She will also share bits of history about his life and interests.
